Mathi – ½ kilo
Tapioca ( maracheeni) – ¾ kilo
Green chillies – 4
Shallots – 10 cloves
Ginger – 1 piece
Garlic – 4 cloves
Curry leaves – 2 strip
Turmeric powder – 1 ¼ tea spoon
Chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
Salt – as required
Coconut oil – 1 table spoon.
Method of preparation

Remove the skin from the tapioca and cut it into small pieces. clean it and add half cup of water, ¼ tea spoon of water, ¼ tea spoon of turmeric powder, required salt, and cook it by closing the lid. ( the water should completely drained while cooking). Then smash it and keep it aside.

Cut the Onion, ginger, garlic,and green chilly into small pieces. take a pan and pour coconut oil and heat it. On getting heated add onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies, one strip of curry leaves accordingly and saute. Then add ½ tea spoon of turmeric powder, required salt and again mix. When the raw smell goes add the prepared mathi maracheeni mixture and mix well.
When it get cooled, put it in the palm , spread little oil and make it in round shape. ( all should be done in equal shape) take a dosa pan and grease it with oil. Place these patties on the dosa tawa and fry both sides. Serve hot
