Ingredients

1. Mustard seed – 1 cup
2. Onion – 1 cup
3. Green chilly – 3
4. Curry leaves – 2 strand
5. Coriander leaves – 3 strand
6. Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
7. Chilly powder – 1 ½ tea spoon
8. Biriyani powder – ½ tea spoon
9. Fennel seeds powder – ½ tea spoon
10. Salt – ½ tea spoon
11. Water – 2 ½ cup
12. Pathiri powder – 2 cup
13. Oil – as required

Method of preparation

Clean the kadukka . keep it in the stove and cook it without adding water. When the kadukka gets opened , you will get water out of it. keep this water aside in a separate vessel.

Then take the ingredients from 1 to 5, one cup of kadukka water and 2 cup of water in a vessel and boil. When it starts boiling, add the ingredients from 6 to 10 and again cook it for four minutes. Add two cup of pathiripodi into it and mix it with masala. When the water gets drained out, you can remove it from the stove. add required oil into it and make it small balls out of hand and fry.
