Ingredients For Masala

Crab – ½ kilo
Onion – 4 nos
Garlic – 10 cloves
Ginger – one big piece
Pepper – crushed – 2 table spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Chilli powder – 2 tea spoon
Tomato paste – 2 table spoon
Grated coconut – ¼ cup
Coconut oil – ¼ cup
Curry leaves – 2 strip
Salt – as required

Rice flour ( puzhukkalari and pachari mixed ) – 2 cup
Onion – 2 nos
Fennel seeds – 2 tea spoon
Grated coconut – ¼ cup
Salt – as required
Water – as required
Chilly powder – 2 table spoon
Oil – for fry

Method of Preparation

Take the rice flour. Grind two onions, fennel seeds, grated coconut into paste. Add this pate into the rice flour and knead it by adding water and salt. Clean the crab well. Cook it by adding turmeric powder and salt. Remove the crab from the shells and add chilly powder, curry leaves, pepper powder into it. Fry this in the oil. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions, garlic, ginger, curry leaves , pepper powder and mix well. Then add the grated coconut and stir it for some time. Add the tomato paste and sauté. Now add the fried crabs and mix well. Finally add the curry leaves and remove it from the flames.

Now take the kneaded rice flour and make it to small balls. Keep the balls on the palm by rubbing little oil and spread it. Keep the crab masala mix and roll it. Keep the rolls in the steamer and steam it. Take out this cooked rolls from the flame. Take chilly powder, salt and water and mix well. Now dip the cooked rolls into it and fry it in oil.
