Pine Apple – 1
Jaggery – 750 gram
Coconut – 2
Coconut milk (Second extract) – 1 ½ liter
Coconut milk ( First Extract) – 2 cup
Ghee – 100 gram
Cashew nut – 100 gram
Dried ginger powder – ½ tsp
Cumin seed powder – ½ tsp
Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
Condensed milk – 50 Milli

Method of preparation

Cut the Pine Apple into two straight pieces and grate it . Take a vessel which has thick bottom and add cook the pine apple by adding enough water. Cook the same till it get tender . When the pine apple is done fry it well by adding little ghee. Then add the filtered jaggery syrup . Once the water get drained and nicely done add the second extract of the coconut milk and boil it. When it starts to get little thicker put the dried ginger powder, cumin powder and the cardamom powder and also the first extract of coconut milk and boil it. Then add the fried cashew nut and mix well. The payasam will taste slight sour and hence to avoid this add the condensed milk and mix well. On getting cooled you can serve.
