Pine Apple – 1
Sugar – 1 ½ cup
Coconut milk ( onnam pal) – 2 ½ cup (without adding water)
Randam pal ( medium thick milk) – 2 cup
Ghee – 3 table spoon
Cardamom powder – 1 tea spoon
Cumin powder – 1 tea spoon
Ginger – ½ tea spoon
Cashew nut

Method of preparation

Peel off the outer skin of pine apple and cut it into small pieces. Put this pine apple pieces into pressure cooker or a thick bottom vessel and cook. Cook it till it becomes soft and gets smashed. Add ghee into it and mix. Later add sugar and mix. Pour thick coconut milk (onnam pal) into it and cook again. Then add the randam pal (medium thick coconut) and again cook it. Add ginger, cumin and cardamom powder and remove it from the flame. Heat ghee in a pan, add cashew nut, and raisins and fry. Add the fried nuts into the payasam and serve.
