Raw Pappaya – 2 grated
Rice four – 2 tbsp
Jaggery – 250 gm
Coconut milk – 2 1/2 cup
Cardamom – 1/4 tbsp
Coconut pieces – 2 tbsp
Cashewnut – 2 tbsp
Ghee – as needed

Fry the cashewnuts and cocnut pieces in ghee. Cook the grated pappaya in a cooker with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup coconut milk until a whistle comes. Add half cup jaggery (liquidified in 1/2 cup of water) and a tbsp of ghee to this. Add coconut milk, cardamom and rice flour to this. Stir and boil the content. (Rice flour should be added in the coconut milk and added to the payasam mix). Add the cashewnuts and coconut pieces to the payasam and serve.
