Ingredients

1. Bengal gram ( Kadalaparippu) – one cup / water – 4 cup
2. Jaggery – ½ kilo
3. Cumin seed – 2 small spoon , dried ginger powder – 2 ½ spoon , cardamom – 15 no powdered
4. Thickened coconut milk – one liter
5. Ghee – 100 gram
6. Coconut – cut into thin small pieces

Method of preparation
Cook the Bengal gram by adding water. When it get cooked and the water get drained grind it to make a paste. Add jaggery syrup and boil it and allow the water to get drained and fry well. Then add coconut milk and mix it. When it get thickened remove from the stove. Fry coconut pieces cardamom and add in the payasam. Can serve.
