Thooli ( Thooli is a fish which is available in areas of Kuttanand during rainy season – 1 Kilo
Shallots – 15 nos
Green Chillies – 3 nos
Ginger – 1 pieces
Garlic – 5 nos
Chilly powder – 4 tsp
Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp
Curry leaves – as required
Kudam Puli – 2 pieces
Coconut Oil – As required

Method of Preparation

Clean the Fish thoroughly and cut it into small pieces. Cut the Shallots, Ginger, Green chilly, Garlic, and keep it aside. Take a mud pot and keep it in stove. Once it get heated pour the coconut oil and add the Curry leaves, Shallots, Ginger, Green Chillies, Garlic and saute well. Then add Chilly powder, Turmeric powder and mix well. Then add required water, Cleaned Kodam puli, required salt and the fish pieces and close the lid to cook for sometime. Once the water gets slightly drained you can remove it from the stove.
