Ingredients

1. Chicken – 1
2. Onion – 300 gram
3. Coconut – 1
4. Green peas – 200 gram
5. Cashew nut – 500 gram
6. Oil – 500 gram
7. Green chillies – 100 gram
8. Garlic – 2
9. Cloves – 5
10.Cardamom – 3
11.Cinnamon stick – 1 big piece
12.Fenugreek – 1 spoon
13.Pepper – 1 spoon
14.Chilly powder – 1 spoon
15.Coriander leaves – 1 spoon
16.Turmeric powder – ½ spoon
17.Curry leaves – 2 strand
18.Dried chilly – 5
19.Salt – as required
20.Water – 1 cup
21.Mustard seed – 1 spoon

Method of preparation

1.Grate the coconut, take out 3 cup of thick milk ( thala pal) and three cup of medium thick ( randam pal) out of it.
2.Grind the pepper to paste and marinate the chicken pieces with pepper and salt.
3.Then grind the dried chilly into thick paste
4.Powder the cloves, cinnamon, cardamom .
5.Cut the onion, green chilly, garlic, curry leaves into small pieces

Heat oil in a vessel. Add mustard seed, fenugreek and saute. Later add onion, green chillies, curry leaves and all the powders and prepared paste one by one into it and saute. Later add the thick coconut milk (thala pal) . Also add the prepared chicken pieces into it. When it gets boiled add green peas, cashew nut, then medium thick coconut milk (randam pal) and required salt into it. Boil it until the chicken gets cooked and remove it from the stove.
