Nadan Fish Curry Recipe ( Kerala Style)


Ingredients:
1. Fish – 1 / 2 Kilo (any Fish)
2. Coconut Oil – 2Tea Spoon
3. Green Chillies– 6 nos
Ginger / Garlic paste – ( As per the your requirement) )
Big Onion – 1 nos
Small Onion – ( As required)
Fenugreek seeds ( uluva) – 1 /2 tea spoon
Curry leaves ( As required)
4. Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
5. Tomato – 1 no
Gambooge ( kudapuli) – ( As required)
Salt – To taste
Water – As required
6. Thick Coconut Milk – 1 cup
Coconut Oil – 5 tsp
Small Onion – 6 nos.
Salt – to taste
Water – ( As required)
Coconut Oil – 6 tsp

Method to Cook :
Grind the ingredients mentioned in point 3 ie Green chilies / Ginger / Garlic / Big and Small onion, Fenugreek seeds and curry leaves to become paste

Heat oil in a pan ( Meen Chatti ) and add the paste and fry it well . When it becomes soft , add the
Red Chilli / Coriander and Turmeric powder into it and fry for some more time. Then add chopped Tomato into it and cook for some time. Once you get good smell then add Gambooge / curry leaves water and salt to it and boil for some time. Then add the Fish into it and cook for 10 minutes. Once the water gets dried pour the thick coconut milk into it and boil.
Heat oil and fry the small onions and curry leaves and mix into the curry. The curry is ready to serve
