Ingredients
1. Meen (fish) – – ½ kilo
2. Chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
3. Dried chillies – 4 nos
4. Curry leaves – as required
5. Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
6. Coconut oil ( required / 2 or 3 table spoon
7. Normal Tamarind – 4 nos boiled and taken the juice | Kudampuli – 4 nos

Methods of preparation

Take a mud pot and keep it in the stove. add coconut oil and heat. Take a piece of cloth and spread the oil into all part of pot. when the oil get heated add the dried chillies cut into two pieces. later add curry leaves and once it got spluttered add turmeric powder and chilly powder into it. put the stove in low flame and saute. Make sure the mix is not getting over cooked . later add the juice of valan puli and kudampuli into it. then add required water and allow to boil. On getting boiled add required salt and fish into it. keep the flames in low and cook the fish. Don’t close the lid while getting cooked. When the water get drained you can remove it from the stove and meen curry is ready to serve.
