Ingredients

1. Chicken – cut into small pieces – 1 kilo
2. Refined oil – ½ cup
3. Onion – one medium sized – chopped
Green chillies – 3 (chopped)
4. Chilly powder – 1 big spoon
Coriander Powder – ¾ big spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ small spoon
Cumin powder – ¼ small spoon
Mustard seed = ¼ small spoon
Cardamom – 2
Cloves – 2
Cinnamon – 2 inch piece
Onion – 2 medium size
Ginger – 2 inch piece
Garlic – 6 cloves
Pepper – 10 nos
5. Salt – as required
Tomato – 2 big one chopped
6. Coriander leaves – 4 strip ( chopped into small pieces)
7. Kismis – 2 small spoon ( paste)

Method of preparation

Cut the chicken into small pieces. Grind the 4th ingredients chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder , cumin powder, mustard seed, cardamom , cloves , cinnamon, onion , ginger , garlic and pepper and make a paste . Heat Oil in a pan. Add chopped onion and green chillies and fry till it becomes golden brown colour. When it becomes golden brown colour add the grinded paste and saute it for 15 – 20 minutes in the reduced flame. Add the salt and chopped tomato and little water and saute. Then add the cleaned chicken pieces and mix well. then add the required water and cook it by closing the lid in reduced flame. When the chicken get cooked and add the kismis paste and stir well. when it start to boil remove it from the flames. Make sure that you have 1 ½ cup gravy should be there . Serve hot.
