Njandu ( crab ) – 500gram
Coconut – one half
Turmeric powder – ½ spoon
Chilly powder – ½ spoon
Meat masala – one spoon
Green chilly – 2 nos
Curry leaves – 1 strip
Ginger – one piece
Salt – as required
Water – one cup
Oil – 100 gram
Mustard seed – 1 spoon

Method of preparation

Cook the crab with the outer shell in one cup of water. When it gets cooled remove the outer shell of the crab and take out the meat. Cut these meat into very small pieces. Grate the coconut and add turmeric powder and chilly powder and mix well. Cut the ginger into small pieces. Cut the green chilly round. Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seed. Allow it to splutter. Add ginger, green chilly, curry leaves and fry. Add the crab pieces into it. Then close the pan with lid and cook. Later add the meat masala and mix well. When the masala sticks well with the meat add the grated coconut chilly mix and fry. When it get fried remove it from the stove.
