Mutton – ½ Kilo ( cut into small pieces)
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Mustard seeds (powdered) – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 1 ½ tsp
Shallots (cut in round) – 1 cup
Tomato (chopped very small) – 1
Vinegar – 1 spoon
Curry leaves / salt – to taste
Cooking oil – 4 tsp


Wash the mutton pieces thoroughly in water. Add Turmeric powder, Salt, Mustard seeds, Pepper, vinegar and mix it well. After mixing keep this aside of 10 -15 minutes. Take a kadai heat the cooking oil, add shallots, green chillies and sauté well. On getting fried add tomato and sauté well again. Pressure cook the mutton pieces and when the water get drained put the mutton mix into the fried onion and tomato mix and fry well. Once ready you can add curry leaves into it and use.
