Crab (Njandu) – 6
Coconut fried and made paste – ½ cup
Chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
Coriander powder – 2 ½ tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Pepper powder – ½ tea spoon
Salt – as required
Water – as required
Onion – 1 ( chopped small)
Green chilly – 4 ( slit)
Ginger – 1 piece ( crushed)
Garlic – 5 cloves ( crushed)
Tomato – 2
Cooking oil – 4 tea spoon
Dried chilly – 2
Mustard seed – ¼ tea spoon
Curry leaves – as required

Method of preparation

Clean the crab and cut into pieces. Add the third and fourth mentioned ingredients into it and boil . when the crab and masala gets boiled add the paste of fried coconut ad required water into it and again boil. When it gets boiled add the curry leaves into it and keep it separate. Later heat the oil and add the mustard seed and allow to splutter. Then add the dried chilly into it. when it get fried add the spluttered mix into the curry.
