Kozhuva Peera


Kozhuva – ½ Kilo
Green chillies – 8 nos.
Onion – 1
Shallots – 5 nos.
Ginger – 1 piece
Coconut grated – ½ cup
Kudampuli – 3 nos.
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Curry leaves – 1 strip
Salt – to Taste
Oil – As required


Grind the grated coconut, shallots, ginger, turmeric and salt together to make paste. Put the paste on the cleaned Kozhuva and keep it in stove and cook. Add onion, Kadampuli, curry leaves into it. Add required water. Once it gets cooked add 2 spoon of coconut oil and remove from stove. Kozhuva peera is ready to serve.
