Chicken – 1 kilo
Onion – 2 nos
Green chilly – 4 nos
Tomato – 1
Ginger / Garlic paste
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 ½ tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – 3 tsp
Fennel seeds powder (perunjeerakam) – 1 spoon

Method of preparation

Take the cleaned chicken pieces in a vessel and bring it to boil in the medium wave by adding little water and ¼ spoon of turmeric powder. When it get almost boiled add the ginger garlic paste . Heat oil in another pan and fry the sliced onion. Add green chillies and tomato and fry for some time till it get separated from the oil. Add ½ spoon of coriander powder, 1 spoon of garam masala, 2 spoon of pepper powder and heat for while and then add the same into the cooked chicken. ( if you require more spice you can increase the measure of the pepper powder ). Add the required salt and mix well. Close the lid and cook it for some more time in a low flame till it get Soft. Then add the fennel seed powder and curry leaves and saute for some more time. Pepper chicken is ready.
