Boneless chicken – 1 kilo ( cut into small pieces)
Onion – 4 big ( chopped small)
Green chilly – 3 cut round
Oil – 1 ½ table spoon
Chilly powder – 1 table spoon
Cumin powder – ¾ tea spoon
Garam masala powder – ¾ tea spoon
Kasoori methi powder – ¾ tea spoon
Tomato sauce – 3 table spoon
Water – ¼ cup
Cashew nut – 50 gram ( soaked in water and made into paste)
Coriander leaves , salt – as required

Ingredients for Masala

Onion – 2 big ( cut long)
Ginger chopped – 1 ½ table spoon
Tomato – 1 ( cut long)
Chilly powder – ½ tea spoon
Coriander powder – ½ tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Oil – 1 table spoon

Method of preparation

First prepare masala

Heat a pan and pour oil. Add ginger, garlic and onion into it and saute. When the onion gets softer add turmeric powder, chilly powder, coriander powder and chopped tomato into it and saute well. When this get saute switch off the stove. keep this mix to get cooled. After getting cooled grind this to soft paste.

Second Prepare chicken Bartha

Take a thick bottom pan and pour oil. Heat it . add chicken pieces and stir. Add chopped onion, green chillies and salt and saute well and then cook. Cook the chicken and drain out the water completely . when the colour of the chicken gets changed, add chilly powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, kasoori methi powder and mix well. Later add tomato sauce into it.
Add ¼ cup of water and the prepared masala paste into it. also add little salt. Finally add cashew nut paste and mix well. When it start getting boiled you can remove from the stove. spread the coriander leaves on the top and can serve hot.
