( can make the chammathi out of chemmeen thala which you keep aside)


1. Unakka chemmeen thala – 50 gram
2. Grated coconut – ¼ portion
3. Shallots – 8
Dried chilly – 5
Curry leaves – 2 strip
4. Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
5. Salt – as required

Method of preparation

Roast the chemmeen thala without oil and keep it aside. Take a pan , pour coconut oil and add the third mentioned ingredients and fry. When it gets half fried add the grated coconut, salt and again fry. This should become light brown colour. fry the chemmeen thala also. Then powder it in the mixture . ( this should be powdered roughly.)
