Boneless chicken ( removed the skin) – cut into pieces – ½ kilo
Pepper – ½ tea spoon
Sugar – 2 tea spoon
Garlic (chopped) – 3 cloves
Coconut oil – ½ cup
Onion ( chopped ) – 1
Green chillies – ¼ tea spoon
Pudina leaves – one strand
Pepper sauce – 1 tea spoon
Tomato paste – 1 table spoon
Hot water – 2 cup
Salt – as required

Method of preparation

Clean the chicken pieces. Add salt, pepper powder, sugar, garlic into the chicken pieces and mix. Keep it aside for one hour. Take a pan and heat it. Add coconut oil into the pan . put the chicken pieces into it and fry. Fry till both the sides gets brown colour. then add the onion and green chillies into the hot coconut oil and fry. Then add pudina (mint) leaves, pepper sauce, tomato sauce and hot water into it and stir. When the gravy gets thickened add required salt. then add the fried chicken into it. then pour one cup of hot water into it and cook it by closing the lid. Keep it for thirty minutes for the gravy to get thickened. Can serve later.
