Unakka Chemmeen – 1 cup
Dried chillies – 4
Ginger – one small piece
Shallots – 2 cloves
Salt – as required
Grated coconut – ½ cup
Valan puli – one lemon size
Coconut oil – 1 table spoon

Method of preparation

Take a non stick pan, add the unakka chemmeen, sliced ginger, shallots, dried chilly and fry. Then add salt, valan puli and grated coconut and grind it a mixer to make powder. Then heat the same in a non stick pan and can store it in air tight containers. Can use whenever required.
