1.Basmati rice – 1 Kilo
2. Prawns – ½ Kilo
3. Ghee – 2 table spoon
4.Tomato (chopped ) – 1 cup
5.Ginger chopped – 1 tea spoon
6.Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
7.Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
8.Coriander powder – 1 table spoon
9.Garam masala powder – 2 tea spoon
10.Chopped onion – ½ cup
11.Cooking oil – ½ cup
12.Green chilly – 4
13.Cashew nut – 10 gram
14.Kismis – 5 gram
15.Cloves – 4
16.Salt – as required

Method of preparation

Cook the prawns by adding garam masala powder, salt, chilly powder, turmeric powder and keep it aside. Then heat oil in a pan . add chopped onion, tomato, ginger one by one and fry. When the raw smell goes off you can add the masala powder. Add the prawns into it and mix. Take another pan , heat ghee and fry cinnamon, cloves. Then add the cleaned rice into it and fry. The add hot water in 1: 1.5 ratio and cook. When it get cooked keep it aside. Take another vessel. First spread the prepared prawns masala then above it spread cooked rice. Repeat the process. Then again cook it in low flame for two minutes. Decorate it with ghee fried cashew nut, kismis, and can serve hot
