Chicken – 300 gram
Basmati Rice – 2 cup
Coconut milk – ½ cup
Onion – 2
Green chillies – 4
Ginger – 1 piece
Cinnamon – 1 piece
Cardamom – 5
Cloves – 4
Garlic – 4 cloves
Turmeric powder – ½ spoon
Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
Coriander powder – 1 tea spoon
Lemon Juice – 2 table spoon
Coriander leaves

Method of preparation

Soak the rice in water and clean it. Drain out the water completely from the rice. Chop the onion into very small pieces. Heat oil in a bottom thick pan. Add cinnamon , cloves, cardamom and fry. Then add curry leaves, onion, green chilly, garlic, ginger and fry well. Add the chicken pieces and fry till it get brown colour. While frying continuously stir it. Mix it by adding masala powder and lemon juice into it and cook it by closing the lid for 5 minutes . Then add the rice, coconut milk, and salt to the chicken mix and stir properly . Add water and cook it by closing the lid. When the pulao gets ready spread above the coriander leaves and remove from the flame. You can serve the pulao with salad
