1.Chicken – 8 pieces
2.Vegetable oil – ¼ cup
3.Onion chopped – 2 nos
4.Tomato puree – ½ cup
5.Garlic chopped – 4 cloves
6.grated carrot – 2 nos
7.Orange skin – 10 gram
8.Karayamboo – 4 nos
9.Cardamom – 4 nos
10.Basmati Rice – 1 kilo
11.Rasins – ¼ cup
12.Almonds chopped – ¼ cup
13.Peper – as required
14.Salt – as required

Method of preparation

Heat oil in a big pan and fry the chopped onions till it become golden colour. Add the chicken pieces, tomato puree, chopped tomato, garlic, and cook it for 5 minutes in a low flame. Add 3 cups of hot water, grated carrot, orange juice, cardamom, cinnamon, orange skin, karayamboo, salt, and pepper. Cook it for 25 minutes in medium flame till the chicken gets cooked. Remove the chicken from the pan and store it in a way that the heat does not go off. Add rice in the same pan and cook it for 35-40 minutes in low flame. When the water gets drained keep it aside. Spread the cooked chicken above the cooked rice . Add raisins and almonds for decoration
