1.Biriyani Rice – 2 cup
2.Saffron. – ½ tea spoon
3.Rose water – 2 table spoon
4.Almonds (badam) – cut long after boiling in hot water for 5 minutes.
5.Onion – chopped – 1
6.Ghee – 6 table spoon
7. Chopped mutton – ¼ kilo
8.Kismis – 50 gram
9.Mutton stock – 3 cup
10,Salt – as required

Ingredients For Masala powder

1.Coriander seed – ¾ tea spoon
2.Pepper powder – ½ tea spoon
3. Cinnamon – one piece
4.Cloves – 6
5. Cumin seed – ½ tea spoon
6.Cardamom – 4
7.Jathikka – ¼ portion of one jathikka
( Put All the above ingredients together and roast it. then make it to powder )

Method of preparation

Soak the rice in water for half an hour. Put the saffron in rose water and keep it aside. Take a pan , heat ghee add the chopped badam and fry. Keep this fried badam separately. In the same ghee fry the onion. When the colour of the onion changes add chopped mutton into it and saute.

When the water of the mutton gets drained add salt, prepared masala powder, kismis and saute again . After frying take out and keep it aside. Heat 2 tea spoon of ghee again , add three cup mutton stock, saffron dissolved rose water and boil.
Then it start to boil, add the soaked rice and required salt and cook it by closing the lid.

When the rice get cooked and the water gets drained add the saute mutton pieces and mix, then cook it for five minutes by closing the lid. When the water gets completely drained , you can transfer into the serving bowl and decorate it with fried badam.
