Sardines (Mathi) – 10 nos
Garlic – 10 nos
Shallots – 10 nos
Pepper – 20 nos
Curry leaves – one handful
Tomato flesh – ¼ cup
Salt – to taste

Method of preparation

Grind Garlic, shallots , Pepper, curry leaves, tomato and salt into a fine thick paste and marinate this in sardines (Mathi) and keep it aside for 10 minutes. Take a banana leaf and spread the sardines in a flat kadai and cook the both side till it get fried.
