Ingredients

Fish, Kanava, chemmeen, – cut into pieces
Onion,
Ginger,
Green chilly
Garlic,
Coriander powder,
Chilly powder,
Turmeric powder,
Pepper powder,
Salt,
Coconut,
Coconut oil
Rice flour

Method of preparation

Heat a pan. Add coconut oil, when the oil get heated add the chopped onion, ginger, garlic and green chilly and saute. Then add coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder and mixed sea food. When the fish gets cooked, transfer that to another vessel.
When the mixed sea food mixture gets ready add it into the wet rice flour and mix. The flour should be crumbly and moist. There should be no lumps, Then put this mixture in the puttukutti. Layer the puttu kutty first with a little grated coconut, then add prepared sea food mixed flour. Then add grated coconut followed by puttu flour, repeat the process until the mould puttu kutty is full ending it with grated coconut. Then cook It by steaming.
