Rava ( suji) – 2 cup
Ghee – ¼ cup
Pea nuts – 1 tea spoon
Urud dal – 1 tea spoon
Cashew nut – 4 ( chopped)
Mustard seed – ¼ tea spoon
Ginger – chopped small – 1 tea spoon
Green chilly – 1 cut round
Onion – 1 chopped thin
Carrot – chopped small – 3 tea spoon
Water – 5 cup
Lemon juice – 2 tea spoon
Salt – as required
Curry leaves – as required

Method of preparation

Take a thick bottom vessel. Pour ghee and heat. On getting heated add mustard seed and allow to splutter. Later add the 3rd mentioned ingredient and fry. When it get fried add the 4th mentioned ingredient and saute. Following this add the 5th ingredient and boil by closing the lid. When the vegetables get cooked add the suji ( rava) slowly. Have to be careful that it is not getting overcooked and get stick in the bottom. To avoid this keep on stirring it. When the water gets drained out remove it from the stove. Spread little ghee on the top of it and press and cover. On getting cooled can serve.
