Ragi ( Red Millet) flour – 2 cup
Curd – ½ cup
Onion – 2
Green chilly – 6
Urud dal (black Millet) – 1 tea spoon
Kadala parippu (Bengal gram) – 1 tea spoon
Grated coconut – ½ cup
Coriander leaves

Method of preparation

Take Ragi( red millet), sugar, Salt and curd and mix. You have to mix this very carefully, The flour should be crumbly and moist only . Have to take care that so that it is not becoming paste. Boil Oil in a pan. Add mustard seed, urud dal, kadalaparippu, green chillies and saute. Add onion into it and saute. Then add the moist ragi flour into it and mix. Keep stirring it continuously. When the water gets evaporated, add the grated coconut and mix. Can add coriander leaves . Ragi upma is ready
