Ingredients

Onion – 3 chopped small
Tomato – 3 medium sized chopped small
Pepper powder – 1 spoon
Oats – 200 gram
Rice flour – 250 gram
Curd – 200 milli if it has sour taste then add 100 milli
Green chillies cut round – 4
Ginger – one small piece
Coriander leaves and curry leaves – chopped small – little
Salt – as required
Coconut oil – as required

Method of preparation
Take all the ingredients except coconut oil and mix it together and make a thick paste. Mix thoroughly and keep it aside to get fermented for 3-4 hours. If the the curd has sour taste, then the batter is not required fermentation. Then keep the appa chatty in the stove and pour little batter into it and spread. Then pour the coconut oil on top of it . cook both sides by flipping both side. Can serve with chutney or any curry.
