Urud Dal ( soaked) – 2 cup
Suji – 1 cup
Water – 2 cup
Tomato ( cut in length ) – 2 nos
Capsicum ( cut in length ) – 2 nos
Cheese ( grated ) – 1 cup
Salt – as required

Method of preparation

Take Urud dal, add required water and grind to make paste. Then add suji and salt into it and make the batter as required for idli. Keep this aside for one night to get fermented. Then transfer this batter into a flat vessel and steam it for five minutes in a pressure cooker for five minutes. Spread the cheese, tomato pieces, capsicum on top of the half cooked batter. After that, steam it again for ten minutes. Cut it and serve hot.
