Idli – 8
Carrot – 1 ( grated)
Onion – 1 chopped small)
Green chilly – 2
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Chilly powder – ½ tea spoon
Garam masala – one pinch
Kasoori methi ( dried fenugreek leaves) – ¼ tea spoon
Tomato sauce – ½ spoon
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves

Method of preparation

Heat oil in a pan. Add curry leaves into it and mix well. Later add green chillies and chopped onions. Then masala powder, kasoori methi, little coriander leaves and mix well. Then add tomato sauce into it.
Add grated coconut, carrot into it and mix. Also add required salt. Then cut the idlis into small pieces and add into it and mix. After two minutes, remove it from the stove. Put coriander leaves into it and can serve hot.
In the idli carrot upma, if your are adding fried peanuts, cashew nut, the taste will increase. If you can add little ghee to the oil, the dish will be more tasty with good smell.
