Bread – 8 slices, removing the hard side portions
Suji (rava) – 1/3 cup
Rice flour – 1 tea spoon
Curd – 2 -3 tea spoon
Onion, ginger, green chilly, curry leaves, – chopped small
Mustard seed , urud dal , oil and salt – as required

Method of preparation

1) Take a pan , heat oil and add mustard seed and allow it to get spluttered. Then add urud dal and chopped onion, ginger, green chilly and curry leaves and sauté. Then keep it for cooling
2) Soak the side removed bread slices in water for two or three minute.
3) Mix the rice flour and suji in little water and keep it aside. And Squeeze out the excess water from the soaked bread and make it dry
4) Add this bread with the prepared paste, and curd and grind it in a mixer quickly.
5) Add sauté onion into it and also add required salt. This batter should have the same consistency of dosa batter. If It becomes thin then it would be difficult to make dosa. The moment you prepare batter you can make dosa. No need of keeping to get fermented
6) Heat a dosa tawa. Grease it with oil and pour the little batter into it and spread round like dosa. Pour little oil on top of it . cook both side of the dosa.

You can serve this with Chutney or Chammnthi Podi
