Chicken – 500 gm
Aval – 1 kg
Savala – 250 gm
Ginger – 1 piece
Green chilly – 5
Corriander powder – 4 tbsp
Chilly powder – 2 tbsp
Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Jeera – 2 tbsp
Coconut milk – 1 cup
Coconut pieces – of half coconut

Marinate the chicken pieces with corriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder and pepper powder and keep for 10 minutes. Cook the coconut pieces and turmeric powder in a pan. Fry this in oil after it is cooked. Add savala, ginger, garlic, green chilly and sort well. Add the chicken pieces to this. Add the coconut milk and jeera to this when the chicken is cooked. Add some water and cook. Add curry leaves, cook for some time and take from the flame. Add mustard seeds in oil with turmeric powder, corriander powder and jeera grinded together. Add the aval to this. Mix well.
