Ingredients:

Ponni Rice – 4 cups
Raw Rice – 1 cup
Coconut Milk – 1st milk of a coconut
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tbsp
Ghee, Salt – as needed

Preparation:
Soak the rice in water for 5 – 6 hours. Add salt and cardamom powder and second milk of coconut and grind in the mixer grinder well. Add the first milk into this. It should be loose. In a plate add some ghee and pour the batter onto it and then place it an idli cooker and steam. Add ghee on top of the batter again after the first layer is steamed. Pour another layer of the batter. Cook this until the batter gets over. When all the layers are set, cook for 20 more minutes and then take off from flame. When cooled cut it into pieces and serve.
