Mathi ( Sardine) – ½ Kilo
Chilly powder – 3 tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Pepper powder – 2 tea spoon
Ginger – 2 small piece
Ginger – 15 nos
Mustard – ¼ tea spoon

Method of preparation

Clean the mathi (Sardine). Cut into two pieces . Take chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, one piece ginger, 5 piece of garlic, little bit of mustard seeds and required salt into it and make a find paste. Marinate the paste in the cleaned mathi ( Sardine). Fry it in oil and keep it aside.
Put some mustard seed in the oil which you fried the fish and allow it to bust. Then add the remaining garlic, ginger, curry leaves into it and saute. Then add 2 spoon of chilly powder, ¼ spoon turmeric powder into it and add the fried fish. Stir the dish carefully so that the fish is not getting crushed. After keeping in the flames for some time remove from the stove . Boil some vinegar and pour it in the pickle and mix. Tasty Mathi Achar ( Sardine ) pickle is ready.
