Ingredients

1. Maida – five cups
2. Black gram ground – one cup
3. Soda powder – 1/4 teaspoon
4. Asafetida powder – 1/4 teaspoon
5. Ginger finely sliced – 1 teaspoon
6. Green chilly finely cut – 1 teaspoon
7. Coconut, finely chopped – 1/4 cup
8. Salt
9. Water

Method

Mix all the ingredients well with water and salt. Make dough and form
small balls of the size of a lemon. Flatten it and shape it like
uzhunnu vada. Fry in boiled coconut oil till golden colour. Serve with
coconut chammanthi.
