Semiya Payasam

Ingredients:
1. Vermicilli / Semiya – 100 gms
2. Milk – 2 lt.
3. Sugar – 150 gms
4. Ghee – 50 gms
5. Cashew Nuts, Kismis – 10 gms
6. Badam – 5 gms
7. Pistachios – 5 gms
8. Cardamom Powdered – 1 gm

Preparation
In a pan add 25 gm ghee and fry the vermicelli / semiya till slightly brown. Cook this in water and strain. Add 2 litre water to milk and boil stirring till reduced to half. Add sugar and cooked semiya and boil again. Fry the nuts and kismis badam in the remaining ghee and add to the boiling mix. Soak the pistachios for 5 mins in boiling water and peel. Chop and add to the semiya payasam. Add cardamom powder and serve.
