Dates payasam - Adukkala

Ingredients:

Dates, Jaggery – ½ Kilo each
Coconut milk – 6 nos.
Cashew nut, dried grapes – 50 grams

Preparation:

Take out the seed form the dates and boil it. You can pressure cook it till it comes 3 whistles. Then take out and grind it in a mixie. Pour the jaggery syrup into the mix and cook for 10 minutes. Then add the coconut milk and make it to boil for another 10 minutes. Add the roasted cashew nuts and dried grapes. Dates Payasam is ready.
