Ingredients

1. Prawns – 500 gm
2. Tomato cut into small pieces – one
3. Onion cut into small pieces – one
4. Coconut milk (thick) – two cups
5. Salt – as required
6. Oil – as required

Spice mix – grind together

1. Ginger – 1 1/2 teaspoon
2. Garlic – 1 1/2 teaspoon
3. Tomato – one
4. Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
5. Green chilly – 5
6. Turmeric -1/2 teaspoon

Marination mix

1. Ginger/ garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
2. Salt

Method

Marinate the prawns with Ginger/garlic paste and salt for 15 minutes. Fry the onion in a thick bottomed pan. When the onion turn slightly brown add the prawns. After about five minutes add the spice mix and continue to fry until the rawness is lost. Add the coconut milk and salt and close the lid. Cook until the gravy thickens. Add the slicedtomato and stir.
