Maida – 200 grams
Butter – 200 grams
Sugar powdered – 250 g
Baking powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Eggs – 4 Nos
Vanilla Essence – 1 1/2 tsp
Raisins – 1/2 cup (have to soak the raisins on the rum okay on previous day before preparing the cake)
Rum – 1/2 cup

Preparation Methods

Mix maida and baking powder and keep seperately. Take butter and powdered sugar in a bowl and beat thoroughly using a beater. Beat the mixture till you get foam. Now add each of the eggs into it and also add vanilla essence. Add This beaten mixture with maida and mix well. Then add the rum soaked raisin and rum into it and mix well. Pre heat the oven. Transfer the prepared mixture into a bowl and bake it in oven for 30 – 40 minutes at 180°c . Rum and Raisin cake is ready
